Economic reform has reached the era of the digital economy where digital technology is used as a key element in every process of production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. The development of the digital economy in 2023 will contribute to Indonesia's GDP by 7.6% - 8.7%. Apart from that, Indonesia also contributes 40% of the market share in ASEAN through E-Commerce. This value will continue to be increased by the government through the Digital Indonesia Vision 2045 where it is hoped that the digital economy will be able to contribute 20.7% to GDP by 2045. As an association that houses business actors operating in the digital economy sector, it is imperative for AKEN to be involved in developing the digital economy.
OCTF 2024 Intelligent Technology Exhibition is an exhibition event for the IT manufacturing industry, modern medical devices and modern household appliances held in Southeast Asia. For Indonesia, this event held on 29-31 October 2024 at the Jakarta International Expo. The progress of the development of Technology and the digital economy is demonstrated through the goods and services displayed at the exhibition. AKEN also contributed to this event as an Association Partner.
